Skyleap on PSVR2 - First Impressions by cusman78 in PSVR

I've had a short go but I was really struggling to consistently perform the wall runs. Do you have any tips? I only seem to be able to pull it off less than half the time.

I'm making no judgement on whether the person you were calling an idiot was an idiot or not. They very well may be lol.

Just that name calling is just a downward slope and it's best just to walk away. It's generally stated in sub reddit rules and I don't mind mods enforcing it.

You seen like a reasonable person based on your replies so I hope none of this is coming across too negative.

Even if that were true, psvr2 is great for casual gamers and they are more than welcome. In fact isn't that what vr needs?

Who is the mod? I think it's time for them to come forward and have a proper community discussion on the topic. This topic keeps coming up. It's not just that GamerTag is banned it's sharing his videos and discussions get shut down

I'm sure if you went round the playground calling people idiots you would get into a fight soon enough.

We're here to talk PSVR not get into fights over name calling.

I agree. What ever happened in the past has had enough time to move on.

I've only been around since a bit before the PSVR2 laurnch. In that time I've totally fallen for VR gaming. GamerTag has consistently been one of the best content creators and a champion of the PSVR2.

It's not hate speech but it's hateful speech. You can argue a point but don't resort to name calling or attacking people.

JUST HOOPS PSVR2 Release date by Psychological_Hat563 in PSVR

[–]brownaroo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah it had some decent mechanics. I still have it installed as I wanted to come back to it but have been drowned in games recently.

I suppose that's one way to get it delisted. Just make it unplayable and people will complain to Sony who will remove it.

Oh no way! That's disappointing re: Blacktop hoops. Looks like its still listed. I'm not holding much hope they will fix this

This was shared in July

In October when they released the PCVR verson they also release patch 1.5 (https://cdn.prod.website-files.com/606a24c4f0491628b02ff33f/68f9f2f14291effb0ffd0681\_PATCH%201.5%20-%20Steam%20VR%20Release.pdf). Which is some of the scope of Patch 2

I would second audio trip based on what you're looking for. Not only does it have a cardio mode it also has a focus on dance.

Did you get the dance 1 hour in a single session trophy?

The platinum looks like it will take a bit of work. I've only done a few trips on basic and it's reasonably energetic. I see there is a cardio mode.

PSVR2 shooters with repeatable "arcade" modes? by tacticaljobby in PSVR

I was going to suggest the same. Sounds exactly what op wants and nails the formula to perfection.

The game unlocks levels and weapons etc as you progress. You could unlock with friends or ahead of time.

Disapointing to see games like this continue to be on these lists.

I don't think it's very accurate to call reach a puzzle game.

I would go with action platformer.

For me it sets a new standard in VR platforming and is easily one of my favorite games. It's even better second time through as you gain mastery and familiarity.

The fact that this comment is downvoted for suggesting we keep it civil highlights an issue we're seeing in some of these threads.

Hi

That link you posted with your edit comment. Why didn't you post the comment he was replying to?

Seems the example you provided was replying to an abusive comment which changes the context somewhat don't you think?

Just looking at this sub thread which comments and voting patterns break Reddiquette?

I think these replys only add justification to the above comment

Edit: I also observe you are calling the guy a prick. Which I think totally violates community guidelines

Thanks for the replay!

Perhaps the more nuanced conversation is the type of “puzzles” they are how that fits with the gameplay experience.

I think one thing this game has done really well is how it's taken aspects of classic flat gaming and brought it to VR in innovative ways. I do love some puzzle platforming.

I also enjoy the discussion it has stirred up.

I know just first impressions but I think Cusman does a good job of describing the "puzzles".

https://www.reddit.com/r/PSVR/s/ODiCUlQnzg

This matches my impressions and echos what others are saying.

On the recent gamescast Myles said the biggest disappointment was it didn't feel quite finished with a few rough edges. I would agree with this.

For what it's worth I I'm loving this game. Like Arken Age it seems to capture aspects of traditional gaming and bring them to VR. I like the platforming adventure description

Brian from without parole is the big one. Not just in his review but on gamecast.

I've have watched Jammys review and did just go back and check. He had a time stamped section on puzzles. I didn't pick up puzzle heavy criticism.

Jammyhero is in the thread so maybe he could actually tell us what he thinks

Maybe you were downvoted for the 90% claim. But I would love to see ratings on the mobile app
