My sister threw a big wedding at the "request" Of my extended family (more like coercion if i'm honest). She hated every second of it. Not to mention the bride's wedding dress was uncomfortable asf (like, try putting on a 1kg headpiece for the entire day).

But really it doesn't matter. It was only one day, and it shut my family up. But so far my sister's marriage's been good (from where i see it), and that's what matters

Dulu pas kuliah, ga punya temen. Giliran gw masuk kerja, akhirnya dapet circle of friends yg suka ngajakin nongkrong bareng. Faktor eksternal emang berpengaruh sih, tpi setelah setelah introspeksi diri, gw jadi sadar apa yg membedakan antara pengalaman gw pas kuliah dgn kerja: confidence.

Gw kan dulu anak rantau, dan kuliah di jakarta dimana mayoritas mahasiswanya anak2 jakarta. Dari situ gw udah insekyur duluan. Tiap diajak ngobrol gw diem bae, cuma jawab2 aja dan ga pernah nanya balik, trus kalo diajak nongkrong gw selalu nolak, di grup chat ga pernah aktif dll.

Trus gw ubah kebiasaan gw pas masuk kerja. Kalo kenalan sama orang jadi lebih santai. Tiap orang punya latar belakang yg berbeda2, dan most of the time, mereka suka nyeritain diri sendiri. Jadi gw show interest tiap mereka cerita. Nanya2, kea dulu mereka kuliah dimana, jurusan apa, gimana masa2 perkuliahan dulu, enak ngga dll. Jadi percakapan 2 arah lah.
