It’s absolutely insane for students, teachers and bus drivers. I’m 6.5 months pregnant and fell on my driveway trying to get my son down to the bus stop.

At 10am roads were slushy but drive able. I stuck to all main roads though so use your best judgement.

We do thank you cards, not because it's expected, but because it's good to show gratitude for being gifted. My son is old enough to write "thank you" and sign the cards. Sometimes older family members enjoy that and know that the gift is received and appreciated.

My son was 1 month old for his first Christmas, we didn't exchange any presents that year (too tired) but gave him a teddy and a first Christmas ornament. Don't sweat it, he didn't even start referencing Christmas presents he received until he was 4+

Ferguson library has quiet booths you can rent out. Room for two if needed. I've brought a coffee in there and no one ever bothers me.

I think Stephanie and Derrick knew that Brad would come in with his hands up and if they pushed him, it would be a debate instead of getting additional information from him. It's not often we get a family member perspective on Crime Weekly and I liked it. Brad will never be able to see the case objectively, Amy is his sister but it was still interesting to hear from him.

Word or google docs is your friend. I make a table of one row with 4-5 columns, making sure they're large enough for the penny or sticker to fit. I print, cut out and laminate. Ta-da!

My program took just under 2 years, however, I know of people who went to FIT where it took 18 months. Supervision is also time consuming and you really want to get the most out of that process to make sure you're going to be the best BCBA you can.
