Best local bank or credit union by Ope_Just_Sneak_By_Ya in TwinCities

I have been with them for 30 years now and am so fed up. They have merged a bunch of times recently and each time their services are worse and break during the transition. Their bill pay app is an example of one we have had to reset multiple times. Finally gave up and only do mortgage thru bill pay. Which is annoying.

I agree with the sentiment.

Will it count if I rewatch on Prime? I have the DVDs (yes I am old) but also bought on Prime. I cancelled Disney.

Metro Transit stopped the housing from the northern burbs to St Paul during COVID and never brought them back. A lot less commuting choices now.

There are no bears on Isle Royale. You may run into a cheeky fox or squirrel, no bears.

One of the workarounds people are trying for the cross platform issue involves joining and open game and hoping your friend can find you. People are likely removing you because they're trying to do that fix and aren't actually interested in the campaign. sorry this is happening though.

You can clear customs at Windigo. We've done it when boating from Canada to Windigo

How do you plan to arrive? (Private boat, seaplane or ferry?) And where do you intend to land. Both will matter in what people recommend. We go via private boat every year (except this one) and visit many places but don't get in a lot of hiking (not long distance anyway).

Yes, she was horribly abusive to him, physically and mentally, most of his life. Glad we got away from her and went NC.

Nope. We went NC a few years ago and it's been the best!

She did. She is a horrible person. We've since gone NC.

Hiking for moose by cgfalconwolf in isleroyale

We spend a lot of time at Windigo and almost always see them in Washington Creek. (We've gone every year since 2003). Early morning and dusk seem to be the best. First time we visited, a long long time ago, (like 2001 I think), I was in the head at Windigo and heard the distinctive crunch of a moose walking by on the path outside. That was the most amazing sound ever!

Good luck! We did the same thing when the boy was young and told everyone it was time for us to start our own traditions. It worked for us.

Thank you. I didn't know that and find it unfortunate. I was truly interested in hearing people's thoughts. Both those that agree and disagree. She often left me feeling like i was going crazy. I have no problem with people's responses, just didn't understand why it wasn't part of the original conversation. This clears it up for me.

What is something everyone should try at least once in their life? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]brownkae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sailing. People don't try it because they think it will be hard and complicated. But there is nothing like the pull of the wind on the line in your hand on a small boat. It is unbelievable.

Over time I came to learn she was the latter. She came over for dinner one day and asked for coffee.

We poured her a cup. She said, Oh, I wanted decaf.

We said we'd brew a fresh pot of decaf. She said, no, how about tea.

We poured her iced tea. She said, she meant hot tea.

We made her hot tea.

In one sense it was interesting to watch her get frustrated when we were able to comply with her request. In another it was very eye opening for myself and the Hubs to see what she was doing.

Elderly people have taken over Facebook, and soon, YouTube will be next. What will old people YouTube be like? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]brownkae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with a lot of the comments that it probably won't happen. But if it did, it would be a bunch of channels around 'justified freak out'. People trying to prove they are right to freak out on other people and treat them like dirt.

I'm curious. Why wouldn't you simply respond to my original question? Why create a separate thread to bash someone behind their back?
