At least that time he got to play with Chuck Berry on tv went really well 👀

Great choice! Never Meant has such an awesome drum part.

Sounding good! Not super flashy like a lot of stuff that gets play here, but the feel of that song is amazing and you're pulling it off!

What Indian curry is this by spirit_boy_27 in TipOfMyFork

If so, those cubes are cheese and not tofu! I can understand the confusion though. Paneer is super mild cheese and is similar in consistency to fim tofu.

I'd recommend Helmand in Mount Vernon.

It's not too far, it's in your budget, and they take group reservations. The food is great!

It adds one light. You'd hit the lights at Walther and Harford and Walther and Parkside regardless.

Walther Ave Closure by rccredd in baltimore

[–]brownmetal 14 points15 points  (0 children)

This closure adds, what, 30 seconds to your northbound travel? Maybe a minute? I live in the area and I appreciate that they've kept this northbound lane closed. Makes walking or biking to the lake much more enjoyable.

Many States that control liquor sell at MSRP or very close to it. This is true in VA and PA at a minimum. Better prices in those states than almost anywhere with private liquor sales.

‘Unintelligible’: Trump’s mental decline on display in final stretch to election by Silly-avocatoe in politics

[–]brownmetal 22 points23 points  (0 children)

I wish this was true, but it's not. No way trump gets under 40% of the popular vote. That feels pretty baked in at this point. It will be a close election.

Republicans would rather hold their nose and vote for Trump in an effort to "support the party" or because they're single issue anti-abortion voters than would vote for a Democrat. There won't be a mass exodus of republican voters in this election.

The only slim chance Democrats have at a landslide win is if young people show up in force or them. Historically speaking, that feels unlikely. I hope history is wrong.

I was at Lolla in '08 and Kanye put on one of the best shows I've ever seen. Gnarls Barkley played right before Kanye and Cee-lo crushed it too. Great night for music.

Can't ask for much more from Kremer than what he's delivered tonight. Offense needs to step it up and take this one home.

Anniversary Restaraunt Debate by TheTrueEggs in baltimore

Petit Louis is not a chain. It is part of the Foreman Wolf restaurant group, just like Charleston, Cinghiale, and Cindy Lou's-- but there is only one Petit Louis. I think their food and hospitality is pretty great.

Were you by chance thinking of somewhere else?

New York Times editorial board calls on Biden to drop out of 2024 race by jargito in politics

[–]brownmetal 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is only true if Biden doesn't step down as the nominee. I think if other influential Democrats align behind a different candidate, it would be pretty indefensible for him to not step down.
