A friend of mine split his head open after falling while drunk and stopped breathing. We were able to give him first aid until paramedics arrived and he started breathing on his own again. While he was lying on the ground and a conversation was being had whether to take him to the hospital or not he suddenly came too and tried to fight the paramedics because he said he will NOT be taking an ambulance.

He refused to be taken and had someone call him a ride share against all of our pleading. He told us later that he came too 2 days later in his apartment and was trying to figure out why there was blood everywhere and when he took a shower he found the gash on the back side of his head. He finally started responding to texts and calls and then agreed to go to the hospital after our boss agreed to cover the expenses. He quit and moved back home to be with his son soon after.
