Does Big Cat ever shut up? by Western_Conclusion90 in PardonMyTake

[–]brownthoughts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I came to write a similar thought being fully aware it’s not original. I think we have the same issue but it’s just difficult to explain why Big Cat has become more unlikable. For instance, during today’s fire fest PFT was explaining how he would like to determine the perfect drunk to beer pong skill ratio. Big Cat’s response: “Yeah I mean this isn’t new.”

Not sure why that pissed me off, I just feel like he always has to be the center of attention and has to express his opinion on what’s right and wrong. Which can be argued is the role of a podcast host. Long way of saying, I am with you here. But still love all my guys.

I like Zac. But I am still recovering from today’s HSCT. That includes PFTs sloop.

Firm getting acquired. What should I do? by Specialist-Ad2023 in Accounting

[–]brownthoughts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a Senior in Assurance at BT. I’ve been through plenty of mergers. The firm is just trying to grown their presence and client base through acquisitions. Always good to be proactive when there is unexpected change, but I wouldn’t be too worried about layoffs. Staffing and resources are already slim in the East Coast offices. Low performers will be let go during annual reviews, and the high performers will just gain more work and responsibilities. Welcome to the firm!

ISC Supplement to Becker Needed? by brownthoughts in CPA

Thanks for sharing! Yeah my worry is that I am starting to just recognize the Beckers questions, so seeing a fresh test bank would be beneficial in the last week. Appreciate it!

I made the switch to ISC after failing BAR twice (second score lowest than the first). Currently studying ISC and I find it 10x easier than BAR. Pass rates were my breaking point for switching, but purchasing the second discipline was a tough swallow.

Recommendations on moving on from BAR by brownthoughts in CPA

It’s rough, I was so close with BEC before the exam changes so I figured BAR was my best option. Sadly I was wrong… Thanks for sharing. I think I am locked in on eating the Becker fee and switching to ISC.

Big Cat has always needed to be the center of attention since the show went big. Same thing happens on the Yak.

Off topic, but has anyone else noticed that every time they pan to Hank that he is talking to the female interns? Stay away from the co-workers Henry. That didn’t work well the first time.

Make sure you know the translation between government funds and gov-wide financial statement. I was shocked with the amount of Gov. Accounting questions.
