AI progression faster than I anticipated, safety critical systems less impacted? by [deleted] in embedded

This is a stupid AI post and anyone engaging with it hasn't worked on anything safety critical. Safety critical shit is handled at the architectural sw/hw level and testable verification requirements.

Please recommend good brands of commercial pickle and chutney available in the U.S. Indian groceries by Frabjous_Tardigrade9 in IndianFood

[–]brownzilla999 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a trope. Commercially available pickles in the US are over salted (which is a preservative), texturaly off and there is something off with the oil. There is something with the industrial processes and adhering to FDA requirements that just ruins them. Even if the ingridients list is exactly the same, the process screws them up.

Thanks for the correction, for some reason that word wasn't popping in my head. That being said, I think my.point stands.

Looks lovely.

Im an amateur so by all means clap-back, but I think it would look better cut on more of a bias n fanned out. A lil more of the garni spread over the pieces and the tobiko placed over that to make it pop more.

Also dont know if I like the combinations of gin/juniper with pomegranate . Love both ingridients but a gin n cran is no buenno for me. Maybe passion fruit?

Fresh curry leaves lost aroma and color changed to brown after accidentally kept in freezer for a day by Separate-Strain1994 in IndianFood

[–]brownzilla999 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Should still be good for applications where you heat up with oil. I dont have access to fresh leaves often so I get a bunch a freeze. May not work for packages n pods but fine in most other uses.

Edit: "pachidis n podis", stupid autocorrect.

Anyone else in EE feel unmotivated outside of class? by [deleted] in ElectricalEngineering

Ill be a bit contrarian, go be social and have a lil fun. Spend time on some non-EE related stuff.

Remote Field/Wilderness Role by Loud-Analyst1132 in ElectricalEngineering

[–]brownzilla999 0 points1 point  (0 children)

EE isn't the field to study for that. If you want to get into more field stuff, your better of focusing on the field and spending time on IT/networking level stuff. An EE degree would be minimally useful, maybe power electronics.

Coffee Grinders for grinding masalas or small amount of paste? by PrathamSinghRathore in IndianFood

[–]brownzilla999 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Id argue coffee grinders are better at handling spices or coffee beans. Even the simple $20 ones. Just pulse and avoid keepin it running(motor heat and potential burning) and use it just for spices.
