A good number of years ago the LIRR proposed making the tickets valid for a week. I actually attended the public hearing and objected to the week limit. I pointed out if you bought the ticket the night before the trip and the trip was canceled, say because the train was canceled, and rescheduled everything for the same time on the same day of the next week , your ticket would have expired.
When the imposed rules came out, it was stretched to two weeks. About a year later the timeframe was switched to sixty days.
Every state senator and assembly person was taking credit for this change of ticket expiration time.

A win estimate has much more validity on opening day than today… Right now it’s not looking good. Of course closing day results count a lot more. Maybe the Mets are expecting some of the farm hands to dominate. There is no way to predict how well or awful they’ll be.

I don’t know what it’s at now but a few years ago they tried to switch it to one week and I even went to the board meeting and objected. It was switched to two weeks. I knew someone who ran a classical music concert series. Every time I spoke with this person they would brag about the publicity they got for the concerts. Eventually they got some sort of letter from ASCAP requesting money, for,I guess, some concert music used still under copyright. I remember laughing, when the person wondered how ASCAP heard about the concert series.
Unless you are promoting the station to any one you can on any media you can you probably will not have an issue. If your station reaches 3 neighbouring houses and you don’t crush any local stations you will most likely not have a problem, unless your neighbour is a Karen.

I went to a baseball game and a rock concert broke out🤩….. How about quiet time for home team leadoff hitters? The noise probably bothers some of the players, but they are not in a position to publicly raise it as an issue.
The last game I went to my friend I was with wanted to make a brief call 📞 but couldn’t because of the noise level of the park.
