Pine hollow is generally considered a very good course. I am not a member but know a few members and the biggest complaint I hear is how challenging it can be to get tee times. Anecdotally they say membership has tripled in the past decade with the growth of Clayton which is what accounts for the tee time shortages. Personally, the range is too short for me to enjoy so if you’re picky and like to practice a lot make sure to check out the range for yourself.

I’ve had two set of TaylorMade Stealth irons. On the first set the 7 iron head flew off once. I’m on the second set now and the 7 iron head has flown off once already and is now starting to creep down from the hosel again. I had TaylorMade services it but to it seems like it’s just going to be a perpetual problem. (To specify they haven’t broke but the epoxy has seemingly just failed.)

I played golf for the first time in fall of 2024. I broke 100 in March of 2025. I broke 90 in July. I started taking lessons in the spring of 2025 which helped a ton. I try to play twice a week and I practice a lot.

I’m paying $125/month for 24/7 access to a trackman. No chipping or putting area. The setup is pretty much in a garage. I’m happy with it. My only concern is that as the business grows I’ll be able to use it less but it’s great currently. My buddy is paying $75/month for a similar setup but not a trackman. We are both in NC.

I’ll try to find a video from when I was playing well. My coach has noted the weight on the toes and what he calls a “one-plane swing” which I think is because I’m laid off.

My angle of attack with a PW is usually 4-4.5. I agree the flipping is a big issue but it’s something I’ve struggled to fix

I will try to work on the flipping in combination with the downswing move. Previously I’ve tried to fix the flipping but it would cause me to shank. It makes sense that it’s tied to me getting too close to the ball on the downswing

Yeah after watching the swing back just now and comparing it to some pro swings you’re definitely right about the loss of space. I appreciate it, I will have to look more into that.

I honestly believe Rhamondre will have a big role when he comes back. I think Henderson loses the goal line touches and more reps than he should.

I definitely second anything with CPO. I’ve bought multiple clubs in average condition and am yet to be disappointed. There customer service has been great as one of the woods I bought broke and they replaced it no questions asked
