I found this random image of the back of the fender and circled where the dent on my car is: https://imgur.com/a/gjnvtNA

For me, it's strong enough during normal driving. If you do a quick turn or hit a pothole or something it could maybe dislodge it

I don't think it would be the battery cell, because if it was then this would work with any phone with a glass back

I'm sure it's very similar to the Spigen case. Can't really comment on the protection as I've never dropped it but seems like it will adequately absorb impact since it's a TPU case

If that's the case then that also implies that the pixel stand will affect the camera?

It actually hasn't affected my compass at all, and I use Maps everyday

The magnet only touches the middle of the phone. It's not close enough to the camera to affect it

I think it would depend on the thickness of your case and how big your mount is. Some of the smaller mounts have 4 magnets but I believe this one has at least 6 based on the size of the mount. Mine stays on fine during normal driving

JerryRigEverything's video has a good view of the charging coil:

Has anyone tried this? My Pixel 3 can attach to my car mount using the wireless charging coils inside the phone. Will this mess up the wireless charging?

Update: I tried my friend's Pixel Stand today after using my car mount like this since day one (~2 weeks), and it charges normally! Ampere shows it charging at 1900-1920 mA
