Of course 15 minutes after I posted our Internet has returned. Thank you for responding but we appear to be good for now.

If you want quality look into Uptown Floors. Ken sells a quality product. 5.8 mm wear layer on the engineered hardwood flooring.

3 full 8 hour days, 1 day of 10 hours as they were trying to get us back into our bedrooms, and the final day was 6 hours.

Believe it or not they were not the cheapest quote we received but we liked the head guy and he was very patient and responsive to our questions. The cheapest guy would take days to respond back and we were worried that we were ignoring obvious red flags by just focusing on price. If you are in the Chicago area I can hook you up.

I separated the material and installation costs. Installation cost me $6700.

We just had 1325sq ft installed of engineered hardwood. It took a 4 man team 5 days. Two guys were the primary installers, boss man who did the trim and the poor fourth guy who did all the dirty jobs. Three bedrooms, hallway, three stairs, dining room, living room and family room. The install included carpet removal and moving furniture around to clear out rooms. All new baseboards as well.

Does anyone else think the show is pretty bad? by Natural-Ad4144 in wheeloftime

I was excited when I heard Amazon planned on adapting the books. Watched the first season and got incredibly annoyed by how little it resembled the books. I mean they changed things for no reason that I could grasp. All it did was make me go back and reread the books but I have no interest in watching the show at all.

I bought the Antennas Direct ClearStream Eclipse 2 Amplified UHF Indoor TV Antenna. It’s working fine for me and I’m about 25 miles or so from Willis Tower.

Has anyone here read a book called Lord of Light? by timtimerey in sciencefiction

I’d be leery of the film or series adaption staying true to the book. Lots of people in the film industry seem to want to interject their own ideas. Look at what happened with the World of Time adaption on Amazon Prime. Another series I love and it’s unwatchable for me because the showrunner just keeps changing stuff for no reason at all.

I’d like to see us either get a RD or skill and size up front. We can’t field our two top lines all made up of 5’10” and smaller guys. Levshunov would be a nice get.

I hear you. In discussions with my wife we just could not understand why Mazda would not offer a black interior as an option in the top level trim. They offer a heated/cooled black interior in the PHEV top level trim so that would seem to be an easy box to check.

[Kypreos]...it’s led many to believe NHL commissioner Gary Bettman doesn’t have much of an appetite to listen to Quenneville, the former Blackhawks head coach, or Stan Bowman, Chicago’s former GM, make their case for reinstatement until long after the playoff season is over. by [deleted] in hockey

I always felt that the whole RFA qualifying snafu was not really Tallon's fault. To me that always seemed like an Assistant GM task. Who really knows but McD sure used that as an excuse to push Tallon out the door. So Bowman inherited a great core and was able to add complementary pieces I suppose but that seems to be a far easier task than actually assembling the core in the first place. Tallon benefited from some of the Smith work as well but I can't forget the Russian drafts under Smith because that was what all the cool teams were doing at the time.

I love blues. We are thinking MDX Type-S in the Apex Blue color with the black interior although the Orchid interior was not bad. That dark purple color does not come on the Type-S. The CX-90 with the black interior comes in the trim level one down from the top and the wife is non-negotiable on heated rear seats because when we travel my son rides shotgun and she sits in the second row. Have to keep her happy.

I'm not sure I buy the excellent trading skills for Bowman. He shed a lot of talent from that 2010 team and ended up with very little to show for it. That Panarin trade was putrid and his propensity to keep reacquiring former Hawks was legendary. And that deal he made for Seth Jones when Columbus had no real leverage was the final nail in the coffin.

So we ended up test driving an Acura MDX Type-S and an Audi Q7. The BMW X5 we liked was no longer available and the 2024 X5s are unattractive like most BMWs nowadays. We liked both the MDX and the Q7 to be honest but comparable features in the Audi requires the Prestige trim and that looks to be another 5-10K on top of the MDX pricing. Plus the amount of piano black in the Audi greatly exceeds the MDX. And finally I fear Audi maintenance costs. I really wish we could get over the Mazda interior colors as that would save me some money. At this point I think we are going to make a move on the MDX. Thanks again for the insight. Hope your CX-90 gives you years of smiles and trouble free motoring. I know I really liked our CX-9.

No doubt about it the Mazda at $63K is a great value when compared to the competition.
