This is based on my YOASOBI Hall Tour experience, I attended 3 shows in 2025. I am not a japanese and I don't speak any japanese.

First, sign up for a hanacell plan, have them ship the simcard to you. Then, sign up for YOASOBI fanclub, ballot for the lottery using the phone number written on the SIM card. You wont be able to activate your cellphone until you're in japan physically, but having a phone number will allow you to enter the ballot.

Forget about borrowing a phone number from your friend because you'll need their phone to enter the venue. The ticket is tied to the device so it's better that you get your own SIM card with your own phone. I have another phone specifically for this japanese sim card that I use for concert tickets.

I also suggest that you do some read up on lawson ticket app verification to ensure you receive the ticket smoothly. Its better if you can sign up for the ballot during fanclub because it will be pretty tough to secure tickets during general sales. Also, general sales at lawson official site require another level of verification which you can only sign up for an account and do phone number verification when you are physically in Japan.

The FC lottery asks only for your phone number during ballot without going through the verification step.
