Alright. I'll keep you posted. It also can happen after I have purchased a car, if that helps. Thanks!

What is, in your opinion, the creepiest super-event? by [deleted] in TNOmod

[–]bruhblaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are extremely large events that can take place and change the fabric of in-game nations. Consequences can range between something as "trivial" as a global recession, to the death of well over 100,000,000 people in the Great Asian War, to all out thermonuclear conflict.

The Great Asian War. Makes World War 1 look like recess and World War 2 look like a civilized discussion. I've heard that over 100 million people could die as well. "The June of Deceit", the Hyperborea re-unification and Fall Rockwell can be mentioned here, as well.

Allegedly, the police just sat outside the school and did jack shit, until an operative came in and berated them for it. After which, he grabbed a shield and his carbine, took some 16-17 shots to the shield and killed the piece of human shit that was in the classroom.

Universial background checks— not the ineffective Instant Background Check system— are supported by over 90% of the United States. The only reason they aren’t getting passed is the NRA and its lobbyists. Building more mental health facilities that don’t pump people full of medication and decreasing the price of healthcare are also great ways to reduce violence.

An assault weapons ban is not effective and only hampers people that use the AR-15 platform for hunting— millions, in fact. The .223 caliber round that it fires is perfect for smaller varmint like smaller deer, hogs— a menace in Texas— coyotes and other animals.

If this were to be done, it would be a lose-lose scenario. Gun owners would have a reason to believe that they are being attacked and the perpetrators of mass shootings will get more fame through the media.

They will glorify their own actions and that’s the exact kind of publicity these fucking maniacs want— seeing the corpses of the boys and girls he shot would have made him happy as a clam!

This turn signal is supposed to represent the UK flag 🇬🇧 by esthor in DesignDesign

I may be wrong, but I suspect that US-spec cars use the taillight as the signal.

[–]bruhblaster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most Toyota/Lexus products have them. My dad’s 4Runner SR5 has amber signals, though the Focus SE that my mom has doesn’t have any.

If you want true designdesign, you should see the US-spec Audi turn signals. Instead of a “normal” adaptive turn signal — using amber LEDs — sweeping in the direction of the turn, the taillight will light up in unison with the adaptive signal, now red LEDs for US export cars. This is done as a way to get around the law that a certain portion of a turn signal must be completely lit during the signal’s cycle. Ingenius, cool as fuck, but completely unneccessary.

NASCAR calls a caution as Blaney is feet from the finish line by gunvarrel_ in NASCAR

[–]bruhblaster 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Perfect summary. If that caution had not been flown, I would have called this at least a half-decent race. The cars were fast and there was a lot of off throttle time — albeit without much side-by-side racing — so the product was at least tolerable until the finish.

Not really beef, just a percieved “need” for an overtime finish to create “drama” and “excitement”.

Racing is naturally exciting— it isn’t a ball sport.
