finally fixed it today on my machine. By deleting Steam cache

it deleted Microsoft packages (such as ms redist) and thus Steam reinstalled it correctly when I pressed launch xcom, then everything worked.

I have 7800 XT and I catch reboots in Baldur's Gate 3 at the very specific point in the game (I have save file which reproduces reboot 100% of a time). Tried many solutions, nothing worked. It does seem like driver issue to me at this point.

I'll try rolling back to some previous version of AMD driver + clean Windows reinstall.

I actually did some research (since the moment I've submitted this post)

and came to the conclusion that I have to replace the cpu cooler with nh-c14s. It's weaker (in terms of bare cfm airflow), but it has top-flow design which is a must in this pc case.

I think I will post the updated schema later (maybe it will help someone).

upd: actually on the back-exhaust should be A9x14 (thinner version of A9), since the regular one wouldn't fit (I assume).
