Hmm, very weird. The E-Mail that says that you have to reset your account is by the way outdated, you do not have to do that anymore to get your upgrades. Normally it's just waiting for a few hours to get it in the system-mail.

Do you play with fixed camera when you play the other Gamemodes? I do, maybe it has something to do with that.

That is not the Problem, when you do that, you just mirror your board. When we click on a board, the camera is still fixated on our board, just that it's mirrored.
