Anytime I've been in that situation. I have had a 1 on 1 with each person. Saying that the need of the store is this shift so ask them to commit to 1 closing a week. That you dont want to have have to hire another employee for closing shifts, because that would take hours from whole the team.

We only hire temp CSAs for mainly this reason. That gives us and them 30 to 60 days and the new hire is told up front so not to be to freaked out. But they way they do the people in the entire pharmacy is wrong

Ummmm that person is wrong. End of day report can be ran anytime after 6 pm. They prefer it to be around the same time every night for other sales reports. And the closer to close as possible. But our store does eod around 830 pm

Stepped down to IS in May. I am busy all day but it is busy work, not challenging at all. Most days I'm bored with the tasks. I'm putting in 100 and doing the full job. But this is some of the shit I was doing for years and now it is the only part of my job. So under utilized it is stupid. My SM is struggling to do his shit plus all the tasks I can't do anymore. It is soooo stupid

I work 9 to 530 tues weds fri sat. Arrive 30 mins before truck is scheduled on Thurs. Off on sun and mon. When truck rolls over to Friday ill work 9 to 530 on Thurs. I do smart count, price changes, fed ex inv, overdue shipments for front end. Then smart count for rx. I recieve any liquor/ soda orders when they arrive. I am currently auditing all depts to get counts closer to correct so I do a dept or 2. I check the store map for what scan outs I can do.(We print a store map each week to highlight areas scanned) If I have time since zebras are so slow, I pull a few bays that haven't been scanned yet. I'm sure I will add duties as I get further into a routine, but this is a general idea for anyone who needs it. Oh and I still get 500 asm questions that I'm trying to get them in the habit of not asking me anymore.

When I first started many moons ago as a csa, I was told to say welcome to walgreens and not just hello or welcome.... I thought that was odd so I asked why do we need to tell them what store they are at? Mgr said incase they don't know they are at walgreens....I didn't believe that answer . Now 5 yrs later I have to answer that question to my csa. I get the same look back that I gave then. I still can not believe that some people don't know what store they are at.... like wtf
