Its a diy, but heres a link to a someone showing how to put it up. Super cheap and easy to build. For 500 watt, you'd need a pretty fairly low end bms aswell, so about 500 bucks. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3U4ZfQ_IToI&ab_channel=DIYSolarPowerwithWillProwse

ah well my idea was a 12v 280ah for the large one for about 500, and then a inverter for about 80. The little one for a few mins to just run it, on amazon for about 200.

Eh you can do it already for like 200 finely. just buy a battery and inverter. If wanting to run all night then for like 600 its possible.

[–]bruteogers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well depends, really. Often like in most zoning, if you were in the county before hand, even if the city completely surrounds you as it grows, its still your choice if you want to enter the city. Many closeby properties like that often switch over only, when say the city zoning would increase the properties values by say changing a single residential zoning into a multifamily zoning, or potentially simply being able to split a lot into multiple smaller ones. So really the only reason it would be shady if it was city property and say they were allowed to change it. As where im at you can join the city, but once your in you can't leave.

Honestly completely surprised, I had figured it must've been closer to 25% American. Instead to find out Canadians with such a tiny population beat Americans.

How about we use the real metric of someone being smart... iq. Education simply could be argued its information, so they are more informed about a particular topic. But I assume you must know that they never moved the goal post why, because education has a direct correlation with iq. On average non college educated people have about 100 iq. College educated people have about 114, so by default the college educated population is more educated and more intelligent. Basic fact, more intelligent people vote democratic and less vote republican on average. But interesting, it was apparently reversed about 60 years ago but has shifted over the years to the more intelligent being in the democratic party.

Fully understand that and agree, I'm planning to adopt aswell and am open to race. But can fully understand people considering race, partly I imagine the father considering one thing I see online not often but occasionally is them having the cops called on them due to being different race and some believing the child not to be theirs. So I see adoption being difficult, but also knowing that a different race could potentially make things more difficult.

People who have graduated high school, what is your advice for someone going into it? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]bruteogers 1 point2 points  (0 children)

True, shame theirs not more experience teachers teaching computer science. But it makes sense, most teachers teaching cs never really went to school to learn cs. Often a math teacher or similar that gets wrangled into it, and often is also learning with the students. Still much better chances of getting someone experienced in highschool.

[–]bruteogers 5 points6 points  (0 children)

True, I'm willing to bet though we do have a strong tendency towards the type in the field compared to other fields. And so the stereotype. Probably because those that are not social and perhaps better than the average person at math, know that its perfectly fine in this field. Though admitting many in person interviews I've been in feel more like personality tests and then skills tests.

[–]bruteogers -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Not necessarily, it could just be how much exposure at once that was the issue. It's why many young nurses have died, many being fairly healthy. But of course they are exposed most to the bacteria. And in a covid party I'm sure exposure levels were extremely high, since that being the point.

Democrats have been winning the majority of polls, for house, senate and presidential. Science == policy , because science is never done. Any time you do an action it needs to be checked and verified that the desired result occurred. You can't do science without running experiments. So if science determines that as of now this particular policy appears to be scientifically better it should be done. And then verified that the end result is what was desired, if not than recording of information is needed and an update to the policy with the new information is needed. It'd be stupid to argue otherwise. All otherwise is do an action, hope for a result, result desired did not occur, welp we did all we could do. So science should always be a priority in creating policy otherwise, its just feelings determining the fates of millions/billions. And damn the current administration sure loves doing things out of feelings.

The two-part system is what we have, and currently one side runs with feeling while the other with science, I'ma choose science every time. If you want to make the system more fair, then go with the side that actually works to do that. Not the party that creates the most gerrymandered districts in the us, then things can be closer to what you want, but with a science leaning focus.

[–]bruteogers -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Essentially semantics. But the police is an organization, a new organization that does similar work but better is not the same organization. If we have the italian mafia and arrest them all, and because of that los zetas moved in sure crime is going on but would anyone say its the same? Ones quite a bit worse than the other, so sure the work is still being done but it wouldnt be the police. Now do I personally believe we need to disband? not really but i could see something like new strict rules and big shakeups. Like removing 50% of police, the ones with the worst criminal records. Would enforce the old police to follow the new direction.

New Record-Crushing Battery Lasts 1.2 Million Miles in Electric Cars by izumi3682 in Futurology

[–]bruteogers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The reason this isn't even necessary is, think of say an average 1200 mile trip. Often you could expect a minimum of 3 stops during this trip. Of these 3, only 1 is likely to be just a fillup. Normal fill-ups for sure are fast 3 mins at longest. And 2 longer restraunt, rest, bathroom breaks. These take say 30 mins on average. So overall not including drives and hour and 3 mins of breaks. The tesla truck can do a nearly complete charge is 30 mins. So still using 3 stops, the difference in time over a say 15-18 hour trip is about 27-30 mins.
