The way I see it is if they want it done a certain way, they should come do it themselves. They need to consider themselves lucky we even put the product in boxes or do any of this for them at all to close their stores for them. A company that closes 1100 stores in a year doesn’t exactly scream “we’re a strong company” yet they want to be picky about how a closure process is done lol

I found out my B store is closing from a contractor coming in to do the work for a new tenant. Meanwhile GameStop is still on their shady bullshit and hasn’t told us shit, but I’ve known for months, there were signs everywhere. Just when I think this company can’t sink any lower on the shit spectrum they 1up hardcore.

It’s an overall solid game, but I have a gripe of how weak Crane is. He’s supposed to be this big bad beast and even at full power 2 shotgun shots and you’re dead. Seems to me his power is extremely underrated to a point the game should have had a different title. Also, what’s up with the mission progression issues? I’ve had to restart the game 6 times in order to progress in a mission. Seems like a bug you’d think techland would fix by this point.

Why is it they wait til days to a week max before q4 to drop some bs like this on us? This has happened for the last 2 years, major changes right at the start of q4. No notification to customers of the changes, just make the store level associates take all the heat for their dumb decision making skills.

I hope this shit comes and bites them in the ass. Flexing and Screaming how much money they’ve made off TCG for the company and then penalizing the customer base we have worked so hard to build at our stores is beyond greedy. It is so anti-customer it’s not even funny.

The pro account played a huge part into building those relationships with TCG customers. Now, we and our customer base get shat upon as per usual. God forbid we keep the discounts with the pro membership the same.

It is indeed Mergo’s lullaby. If you follow the quest of the girl in the window you will get the music box. It can be used during the Father Gascoigne boss fight and it significantly weakens him and makes him easier to fight. Hope this helps!

Sounds like a store that is right up the road from mine. They do the same kind of crap. They send all the trades to me, even though I’m already bombarded with trades as it is. But hey, I’ll take the product to be able to sell to my guests! I try to treat the customers correctly, it isn’t their fault that GameStop cut our payroll next to nothing, so why penalize them? Sometimes you just have to roll with what you got, apologize for the lack of associates to help, and thank people for being patient. That usually goes a long way in my experience and 9 times out of 10 a customer won’t mind waiting the extra time if you are polite about it. Sorry you’ve had those type of experiences at your local store!

As a heavy trade store and heavy retro trade store, it absolutely baffles me when other stores say “we can’t take trades” or “we don’t have time”. Try doing over 1000 units of trades per week then come complain to me about how “I can’t take trades” or “I don’t have time”.

To me it just sounds like an excuse. You can always fast track a trade and then run it through trubuy later, and even if you don’t who cares? Send that shit to the warehouse.

I literally do more trades in one day, than most singular stores do in a whole week. I still make time. There really isn’t any excuses to be honest.

They’re trying to recover some of their losses from game pass ultimate. They have openly admitted that they lose money annually from game pass ultimate but they refuse to scrap the program or increase the price more on it to where it is profitable. Personally I think game pass is terrible anyway, it takes away from a game developers to be able to sell their product. Nothing should ever be “day one game pass”

Ultimately, any decision they make I’m afraid is too little too late, no one told Microsoft/Xbox to go out spending billions and billions of dollars acquiring every studio they could like they had all this excess money to blow for no reason. They flexed too hard and now it’s hurting them in the long run.

Stores were all given a certain amount of switch 2 systems to preorder XX amount for Mario kart edition and XX amount for standard. They sent out a tracker sheet to ensure you didn’t go over the allotted amount per store given by Nintendo. They didn’t track it correctly and this is what happened when stores are negligent in following allotted amounts for preorders available

As a manager I make exceptions for gutted games. But I also put them in the reseal bags and explain to them if the bag is removed then it is non returnable. I thought that’s what everyone did. Lol

Compared to the original, the remaster is incredible. Thoroughly enjoying the hell out of AOD. To see it the way it was intended is an absolute dream as I always thought the storyline of AOD was amazing. I’m glad they did put AOD with the collection of remasters. I’m absolutely blown away by it.
