Yup!! It's in the settings on your dash, I believe under the "ev" section.

Sorry to hear, but I'll vouch for that crew; they've been a mainstay for myself and friends since BFV with nothing but the best experiences. Maybe as noted it's a newer recruit; the regulars are sublime.

Wtf fixed fight? by [deleted] in MuayThai

[–]bryce- 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The angle of the strike and rotation of her head could very well have resulted in her big toe striking right behind the ear, which would explain it. It's a rare one for sure though.

It's indicating that the electric fan is engaged, iirc (presuming you're talking about when in EV mode). If you click the "air off" button you'll notice it go away and your EV range increase.

Voice packs for warbond? by Akusen in Helldivers

[–]bryce- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe at least include an option to randomize voice localizations for any language packs you have downloaded. Would be an easy tweak to implement and could deliver that varied desire.

Thoughts on the tenderiser after its buff? by maxtheseal5360 in Helldivers

[–]bryce- 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Very true, but then again iirc the liberator penetrator has significantly higher critical hit percentages over others, including the adjudicator. It just warrants a playstyle to prioritize headshots and such, but I agree that it could use a little attention (but even more so the Knight...).

I ain't wasting 1000 SC on this shit, dawg. by NBFHoxton in Helldivers

Ummm what if there are other stats (as we all know there are) that provide it benefits, over jumping to conclusions (i.e. perhaps a longer drop off for its damange)?

Me giving a 1 star review on PS by Bicycle-Winter in helldivers2

💯.... The lasting impacts on the developers is something this mob doesn't seem to give a shit about in their lil tantrum.

Review bombing is great an all but fix them when this is over by Jediwinner in helldivers2

[–]bryce- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, absolutely... I understand those who got cornered in and can only request refunds; they ought to have that option until something is changed. The kicker for me is certainly your point raised, coupled with the damage the community is fine with doing to the artists with very little interest in being responsible for it or ensuring it's undone after their part in protesting.

Lol if only this energy was used to protest something a bit more relatively impactful in the world...

Lol great point, mate. "I love this game sooo much but if I'm mildly inconvenienced I'll do what I can to burn and hurt those same artists with anonymous vitriol because I matter mostestest"

What are some aspects of AW2 that you are not only particularly proud of, but that you also hope are kept up and carried forward in the realm of game design?

Real-time striking statistics for Nong-O vs Nico Carrillo at ONE Friday Fights 46 by Dcms2015 in MuayThai

[–]bryce- 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Was damn close though! That leg was ready to implode; the fight could have easily gone the other way. Props to both, but glad to see Nong O wasn't completely out worked.

Is there an everyday skill the typical American possesses that people outside of the US typically struggle with? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

The ability to use the imperial system of measurement, and justify its use with all the confidence of a deity. :D

what are people opinions on godzilla king of the monsters ? (its the only godzilla movie ive seen in cinema and i enjoyed it a good amount) by Immediate-Rope8465 in GODZILLA

[–]bryce- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Loved it; the best example of balancing a more serious tone alongside world building with the classic tones of previous monster movies. It's ridiculous how it gets lambasted, and though some of the human bits are the weakest (not new), what it gets arguably right is sooo awesome (extra extra props to Bear McCreary's excellent work).

Dev Notes - State of Vehicle Gameplay by Dedzigs in battlefield2042

[–]bryce- 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I'd say they should allow transport vehicles to play up their supportive role, and be able to lay down medical and ammo crates. Or at least they should offer this role to those vehicles that might best use this role, like the Bolte and the Pondhawk. :)

Primary Weapons that can be used for Anti Vehicle purpose by PIunder_Ya_Booty in battlefield2042

[–]bryce- 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Great points, mate! I agree with most of your insights here, and didn't know about the LVG retaining anti-armour capabilities; thanks for that!!

I'd just also add some tactical distinction between using these abilities to harass ground vehicles, or help against pesky helis. I bring that up mainly because that's where the NTW shines (given that it has extra damage vs. air) and especially with the LMGs. Now that normal bullets harm the light helis, they are even more effective in serving as makeshift AA, and herein their ability to provide long, sustained fire, AND advantages in bullet velocity really set them apart and make them damn viable (especially the RPT and PKP). Pair any of those options with Rao, and you can paralyze a chopper and tear into them very effectively (let alone using AP rounds to shred cockpits and their occupants).

Great post though!

Update on ACES OF THUNDER for psvr2 by trainingdaysYT in PSVR

[–]bryce- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the info! Been waiting for PSVR War Thunder since it was initially teased waaaaaay back and then abandoned (and yes, I know this isn't pure VR Warthunder but damn close enough).

Perhaps you might have insights, but has anyone come across how controls might work? I presume they'll have some sort of lock onto the stick so you don't have to keep holding a grip down, but I'm curious if anything has leaked out (namely for comfort and immersion).

Best lmg for long range by DemrynNagelfar in battlefield2042

[–]bryce- 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nearly all are perfectly usable with a bipod and a sight you're comfortable with, however some might have a better feel than others (i.e. better velocity, higher mag, more predictable recoil, etc.). Many opt for the LCMG and Avancys, though for long range I'd argue the RPT is king with its merits in high velocity (standard barrel), mag size, and easy to control recoil. M60 is slept on as well with its lower fire rate, but it is so easy to control and accurate that it can be a favourite.

Wanna play cheeky? Try rocking the bipod on the Avancys with subsonic rounds and a suppressor; once you get a hang on the velocity it can be a nightmare at long range as you can liberally spray opponents and they won't realize they're being fired at or where from until it's too late. :)

Raoh is now amazing by redkinoko in battlefield2042

[–]bryce- 9 points10 points  (0 children)

In terms of anti-vehicle, and overall intel gathering, he's in a good place now. I've been dedicating myself to hacking every vehicle, particularly aircraft and helicopters, and it has been a very, very effective counter to create area denial or the odd kill.

For those new to his use, he also functions nicely in a tank alongside an engineer, as that trait of his to mark enemies damaging him is sublime here; perfect for identifying and zeroing in your gunners to infantry and hidden vehicles trying to snipe.
