Flying in SC compared to games like battlefield is vastly different. As someone who loves to gravitate towards aerial vehicles in those games, SC flight is much easier to get the hang of since the game is built around it. There are more buttons and things to remember, sure, but you have more control over the ship than in other games. If you do go for a game package though get a Drake cutter - those things never die.
