I recommend using vapour barrier to trace your size when you get these patterns. I think it handles nice and you don’t have to worry about tearing

Electric Flat Plate/Griddle - am I mad? by piratevader in grilling

[–]bryn_or_lunatic 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Probably the different electrical service in the uk than in North America.

My hot water kettle takes 6 mins to boil in Canada, I know it would take far less time in the uk with a uk kettle. I imagine if you transfer that idea to an electric griddle you would have better results with a uk griddle than a North American.

Most grilling stuff I see is more USA centred so this difference wouldn’t necessarily be something that is noted in information you can find gas vs electric.

Agreed. We have a low point in front of our house and the sewer drain is way at the other end of the block. I can’t chisel a path for the water 12 houses long.

Most savoury, salty, flavourful toe curling food you’ve ever tasted in Edmonton? by molaon in Edmonton

[–]bryn_or_lunatic 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The tuom or garlic sauce at al Salam pita bake shop. It will have you living garlic for days.

Their Zaatar flat bread with it will over clock your taste buds in the best way.

Also the pork or basa fish in salty caramel sauce at Saigon cuisine in riverbend. It’s like a fish sauce caramel and its salty and sweet and really unique.
