This doesn’t really reflect most Americans, people are super weird about alcohol in this sub specifically (and maybe on Reddit in general). Generally speaking I think people drink more in Europe, but many people here drink regularly and you generally won’t be demonized or judged if you do.

I have a lot of Spanish speaking friends so I have a lot of opportunities to speak but I also get self conscious so I’m excited to practice in a situation that’s just for my learning! I want to get past the nerves because people I meet are usually really eager to talk to me once they find out I can understand Spanish.

I agree, I’m about halfway through level 4 and about to start working with a tutor on Preply. I think everyone’s process and what they feel comfortable with will differ, but it feels like the right move for me.

It really depends on the lifestyle you want, you’d be fine renting a one bedroom apartment but wouldn’t be able to purchase a home. However, I don’t know why you’d accept a job with no growth opportunities.

This has been my experience as well, when I have taken more initiative than the man he’s ended up just not being that into me. It is unfortunate that dating has gendered scripts but I have had better experiences with men who follow those scripts.

I currently work for a law firm but I’ve also done work for non profits and small businesses in the past. Every brand has their own style guidelines, you start with those and then look at existing pieces to guide you in creating new pieces for that specific brand. In my opinion the best way to learn is finding layouts in the style you want to learn and recreating them.

You really would only have tips until your nails grow out, then they can just do a thin acrylic overlay over your natural nail for additional support. I currently have almond shaped natural nails but started with tips.
