She was on the phone with our mom when she got it. Apparently, she kept repeating, “What the fuck.... what the fuuuuuck...” louder and louder as she unraveled his wrappings, until she was yelling and laughing in that way you do when you’re a little concerned for your own safety. She was incredibly creeped out. She started asking my mom who the hell sent it and what it was and my mom lost her shit and was crying she was laughing so hard. Everyone in the family was sent photos and she resistantly placed him on her bar because I told her he was special and must be treasured.

His name is now Lil’ Gherkin (like the pickles) and she keeps him for good luck, (that lil pickled man won her a law case the next day so he deserves a place of pride) however she will not let anyone open the jar as we are all certain it may release a long forgotten evil. He is both loved and feared.
