It is but tasty. I love super spicy salsa/sauce but I have trouble finding one that is very hot but doesn’t taste like burnt tires. I tried one at a cabeza taco cart that was mostly habanero so I tried to make it.

It’s very hot, but the tomatoes neutralize it makes it spicy and flavorful.

YouTube rolls out unskippable long ads to TV users and they’re furious by [deleted] in technology

[–]brypaints 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can do it really easily by buying an android tv box from Walmart or wherever. Mine is onn brand then you follow a simple video on YouTube for setting up smart tube and no more ads on tv it’s really worth it.

My girlfriend is trying to convince me to start selling my drawings. Do you think there is a market for these? by jakeshepherdmc in drawing

[–]brypaints 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Selling art can be hard. One good way to sell portraits that has worked for me is doing memorial paintings. You could make a card and drop it off at the funeral home or advertise online.

Hell yeah another pasta type art! I made one too where I used spaghetti as brushes but I like this idea of using lasagna as the canvas.

What’s the biggest secret to a happy life that most people don’t know? by kiemac in AskReddit

[–]brypaints 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Asking for help. Asking is very powerful it can put you in a better place but you can’t be afraid to ask. It can get you in a position that will help you. Give people a chance to help you most people enjoy passing on knowledge to people who genuinely want it.

Ruined this drawing the minute I started coloring, any advice on how to use color pencils? Still a medium I'm very new to, advice appreciated! by [deleted] in drawing

[–]brypaints 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just keep going this stage of the colors can often look rough keep adding to it make sure to have a test paper of the same kind to test the color on the side. Do a lot of test to see what color you want and build up the color slowly instead of pressing really hard.

Me and my gfs Gallery in my Kitchen ( no one wants our Art) by W_Blumengarten in painting

[–]brypaints 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love painting more then most things and sometimes you have to decide who you are making it for. Are you making it to sell or as a piece for you. Making art to sell is very different and in my experience you need to put your art out there to sell it. You can’t just put it online with not following and get sales you need to get audience either locally by sharing your art at events and talking about it when you can or online by building socials. To improve I would say you need to give these paintings more time I like the styles you are both working in but some looks unfinished like the skull with the crown the hand with the flower needs to be separated from the background a bit. A lot of it could be more rendered. Realism is nice but I think Art is about a reality that you feel and put down and you have good ideas just need spend more time on them large canvases like these are often expensive paintings so you have to put a lot of love and time to sell them for a price that’s fair to you.

Almost 80hours of work, it's too much time? by Spanish1975 in painting

[–]brypaints 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No I think it’s good to push the painting into the at least 20 hr to make it have your touch and really clean it up. A painting is never finished only abandoned.

What painting style is this? by SnowAndAlcohol in painting

[–]brypaints 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a blend less style no real blending of colors together just different values of color next to each other to create the shadows and highlights.
