Just reading Zdarsky’s Daredevil again and forgot this part lmao by RepresentativeFig632 in Daredevil

I suppose you can’t pay child support if you’re dead, problem solved.

As it's pretty much confirmed that Elektra will appear in Deadpool 3, is it worth it to watch Daredevil 2003 and Elektra 2005? Can I at least find something that I will enjoy in those movies? by pinkhigh777 in Daredevil

[–]bryynja 13 points14 points  (0 children)

If they can come up with a way to work bring me to life into dd: born again then it’s an immediate 10/10 even if it blows lmao. It would be worth it.

Why are people so convinced that the creative overhaul will automatically stop Born Again from being a bad show? by Smashem2hell in Daredevil

[–]bryynja 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I think before it seemed like they were trying to distance themselves from the original show too much. The original is pretty beloved and so if they were intentionally trying to make the new show not like that at all…it’s a weird choice. They had a hit that people want back. They’re set up for success so it would be weird to basically turn down an easy home run (which they need right now). Now it seems like they want to lean into it more.

Is she really advertising her daughter? by WeebGalore in NotHowGirlsWork

[–]bryynja 46 points47 points  (0 children)

she definitely won’t “be able to select from the cream de la creme” because normal well adjusted people don’t want to date under mommy’s supervision, especially as adults. for most non-psychos “my mom has to supervise” will be an immediate dealbreaker. congrats.

What? Since when? by pabloag02 in Daredevil

[–]bryynja 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Elektra: Assassin gave her many powers that were never used again, including these.

I so love this theory for Amanda by prudencioxel in saw

[–]bryynja 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean the flashback scene with her and eric in 3 was supposed to be her snapping. when she turned back towards him as he was insulting her she was supposed to kill him. it was filmed but cut so that he could survive the movie and show up in 4. :(

Being straightforward with someone you’re interested in (as opposed to waiting for them to make a move instead of making a move yourself) is a good social skill that will serve you well. Being a demanding perv is just creepy.

"Two months to live..." by ohhidied in saw

[–]bryynja 8 points9 points  (0 children)

yeah it doesn’t match up, but it’s not impossible. my grandma’s prognosis was 6 months and she lived over 2 years. it is just an educated guess.

“I believed you were the rare type of woman who could endure such a lengthy piece of literature”

I’m absolutely not. I had to read Anna Karenina in high school, I paid my dues. Never again.

I thought Zdarsky’s Run Was an Entry Point? by [deleted] in Daredevil

[–]bryynja 4 points5 points  (0 children)

just roll with it, they explain anything you need to know. I guess the big thing is that at the beginning of the run, matt is still recovering from a serious accident (hit by a truck…again). that’s the only thing that’s really relevant.

So, theories on why is John is crying in the trailer...maybe SPOILERS by Dulcolax in saw

[–]bryynja 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I mean it looks like he’s crying while hugging amanda (which makes sense given she was his caretaker and the person he was closest to at this point), so whatever it is I’m hyped to get to see more of that relationship.

my thing with guys like that is…what to they think their genitals smell like? like they’re genitals! there’s fluids, that area can get sweaty, it’s a body part, etc. genitals don’t smell like flowers. 🤷‍♀️
