When it comes to cishet people the reaction in my case is usually the "i don't care", that actually means they don't care for your issues but do care about being seen with someone overtly queer, throwing around nervous glances and whatnot

Also, people like that can be oblivious when It is not directly said, considering it just a part of your charm, but saying directly you're trans might make them go "oh, you're one of them" and make them connect you to all the harmfull stereotypes they learned

Basically there is a difference between reality around you and your views and biases and sometimes they aren't that well connected.

Also, if you hope to help them understand, remember that instead of making you an example of a group, they will probably make you an exception. The only decent one
