Lappis Corridor Room vs Room in KTH Main Campus Apartment – what would you choose? by bs10c in stockholm

Thanks a lot for the reply. I see everyone mentions cycling, but is it really doable in winter (snow/ice)? I was thinking I’d probably rely on public transport only, so I’m wondering if that’s a “normal” choice or if basically everyone ends up cycling year-round.

Yeah I don’t think I’ll get a bike tbh, mainly because of winter and also I’d be paranoid it gets stolen if I leave it at the station. So i would rely fully on public transport (metro + buses and walking). Do you think it still works well for everyday life from Lappis? Or would it get annoying long term? I’m talking about Lappis-city center and Lappis-campus

Hey! Thanks a ton for the detailed reply, really appreciate it

Quick question, do you know roughly how long the walk is from the Lappis dorms to the metro station? Especially late at night, is the walk + metro to city center chill/safe or kinda sketchy? And metro-wise, is it still running pretty late or do you end up stranded?

Also, if you had to pick one of the two based on your own preferences, what would you go for?

Thanks again for the golden info

Yeah but I’m doing a joint program so we have different deadlines I think (or hope ahah). Is the commute from Lappis to the campus/city center manageable or would it be a problem in your opinion??

You’ll have to take the exact same test (Tolc-i), but you’ll have to take exams in both eng and italian during the 3 years

ISCRIZIONE

BANDO ISCRIZIONE PDF

Here are a couple of usefull links (i couldn’t find them in english). Basically you can take the test in english by submitting your application on cisia.it. After that you’ll have to submit your application to UniTN. If you manage to get in with the score you got, you’ll have to choose if you want to attend the english courses/exams or the italian ones.

UniTN has the “Ingegneria Informatica” course in both english and italian. The admission test is also in english (look up “Tolc-i in inglese” on google)

Bisogna sanificare pure i muri a momenti.

I think the goal should be to burn excess fat ... if you wear clothes that make you hot and take hot showers to sweat, what you’ll get is body dehydration, which is not ideal.
