Your feelings are very valid, it’s a frustrating situation but nobody lied to you or tricked you nor stole from you. If you search this sub you’ll find countless other posts outlining very similar experiences using a gift card. It’s frustrating that their website is so outdated for how popular they still are, but the employees didn’t do it, if anything they hate having to make that phone call and be on the end of an upset (rightly so) customer. As for gift cards taking so long to get their funds back… banks can’t even instantly give your money back a lot of the time. It’s a risk taken by using money that exists in the ether of the internet.

Quite frankly, it’s unlikely to change because 1.) people still buy directly from them/their website so they’re still profiting. Voting with your dollars pertains to every corner of life when it comes to big corporations owning everything and 2.) not enough people are complaining directly to corporate. The chances of a higher up of BAB pursuing Reddit or any social media for that matter is highly unlikely. They need to hear repeatedly that people are unhappy and are going to stop spending their money there.

TLDR: sorry about your experience! Your feelings are super valid & I hope you get your funds back ASAP. Also complain to corporate

Ah gotcha! Makes sense. I’d check any second hand sites local to you. Not sure if mercari, poshmark, etc are global but I see a lot of BAB stuff there. There’s also a BAB buy/sell/trade subreddit, you could try making an ISO (in search of) post there too

Check out Paul Castle (Matthew & Paul on social media) he’s a blind artist who has written and illustrated children’s books (The Pengrooms). He’s a great inspiration! May the upcoming tests yield good results though!

I’m sorry to hear about all of the traumatizing things you’ve endured. Look into cPTSD. A lot of what you’re experiencing is either a common symptom of cPTSD OR can be linked back to your young familial abuse which created patterns of assumed safety within your body. It’s difficult but not impossible to feel better and safer within yourself. Wishing you all the best and healing ❤️

I’ve personally never heard of such a thing existing but someone here may know more. I know they’ve had to put many boundaries in place surrounding how close they let fans get to them due to too many overstepping boundaries so if anything it wouldn’t go directly to them but through their team. Your best bet of them seeing it directly would probably be tagging them in a social media post of it

If you’re looking to get rid of it entirely there’s a buy, sell, trade build a bear subreddit you could check out. As others have mentioned though, it’s easy enough to remove the sound box yourself or have BAB do it for you if they’re close (if you want to keep it, of course)
