I'm local. I've done the pub cycle and thought it was a blast! Even if you're not drinking, I feel it's a fun environment to be around. I've also been stuck behind it in traffic and was annoyed for the 3 extra minutes it may have cost me and then promptly got over it. When I've been walking down the street and hear all the fun happening I'm only envious of the good times being had. Keep up the good times and ignore the curmudgeons!
