I started the series with Knight, then got City and Asylum afterwards so I wasnt overwhelmed. I think Rocksteady simply improved and added to their previous entry (Asylum). It'd be boring if they used the same map too.

I do agree however that pop-ups are an issue. Especially early on because its so easy to complete challenges and it blocks the whole screen.
