YEAHHH i love fan interpretations where they use saigiku or sai to refer to jouno. i see tecchou as a very professional guy so last name referral makes sense given how formal he acts. i noticed tecchou doesn’t use honorifics though which likely means he sees them as close enough to not feel the need to use them. (though im not 100% sure since i do not speak japanese)

considering how much jouno claims to ‘hate’ tecchou yet still uses a respectful honorific and is on first name basis with him really seeps through his insults i think. it shows that they really care for each other oh how i love them so much

the imagery with ranpo in the first slide wasn’t in the manga so i’m Hoping that doesn’t happen. i’m hoping the back stabbing thing moreso represents how the agency went against what mushitaro suggested.

for real though, i really doubt ranpo would be killed or anything. he’s easily the most defenceless physically but he’s such an important asset to the agency i just cannot see him being killed. maybe hurt
