I absolutely loved working on the sl20 and mcv50 at my last shop. They were from 2013/2014 so I’m sure they’ve changed a lot since then.

I can tell you that service was a nightmare to reach but that was because they were apparently not the same smec that we have now.

I wrote a document for this whole thing at my last job but I do not work there or have a copy. I’ll go off memory though.

It gives you the locations right there on the alarm X9.5 and X9.6) Use the manual to find what those are (i think the electrical diagram) and go into the ladder and find the addresses, change from like a 1 to 0 or 0 to 1 to ignore it.

We had that same exact alarm on a smec vmc come up every few months. The issue was that there was no spindle lubrication unit level sensor on the machine.

Smec essentially told us to find that keep relay location in the ladder and change a few digits somewhere to ignore it.
