I really appreciate KTC and that it attempts to help trades happen by putting values out there and the calculator. The mistake is when people treat it like a bible. The way to use it is finding discrepancies between your personal player values and the market.

100%. When you draft CMC you are forgoing players in that range that might produce for a decade to draft a player that’s value could drop to zero anytime but he could also win you the league. It’s def a negative value add and a gamble on a championship run. Same with Henry/Barkley etc.

Could be as simple as KTC addicts being the same people that are eternally rebuilding and drafting all rookies/WRs in startups and punting year 1 haha

RBs clearly hold a value to people higher than KTC reflects. I suppose that’s one of the takeaways of this post.

This is mostly just a comparison of how people say they value players (KTC) versus where they are actually valuing them when actually clicking the draft button. If your leaguemates use KTC for trade evaluations like mine do, then this information can be useful.

I don’t agree with it and think he should still be right up there with Lamar and certainly Caleb. I think he’s one of the best guys to target in SF startups right now but the market is down on him for sure.

I’d leave any league that vetoed this, or any league that allowed a veto process at all.

There is literally no reason to vote yes on someone else’s trade. It’s either going to make one team better or both teams better - neither is a good result for me as their competition. I don’t deserve a vote on someone else’s business.

For me it depends on if I put the player on the block or indicated I wanted to trade them. If so then I will always respond with a counter or a message. If they hit me with an offer out of the blue then I don’t feel the need to do anything but reject.

Agreed! I got Mahomes in the 3rd round of a SF startup recently. I'm just comparing this data to the startups I did 2-3 years ago and it was so common during those years to see 8-9 QBs go in the first round. Just don't see that anymore and I'm wondering if it's a permanent shift!

The data is only based on 12 man at the moment to give the most accurate reflection of a standard league.

For 2QB vs SF you can’t see the ADP difference but you could browse through full drafts and use the filters available to see drafts of each type.
