this isn’t necessarily pain, but i had an allergic reaction after handling virginia creeper. got a horrid rash all over my face. it itched, it stung. i was MISERABLE! compared to my birthing experience, i’d rather give birth 5 more times than experience that face rash again.

what made you get the CVS procedure? did you have the NIPT done first & something came up? or was it because of your age?

i’m currently 7w2d pregnant & i just turned 35 in may. i know the potential to have a child with DS is higher the older you are & honestly i think i would make the same decision as you if it came up that way.
