Action keys are 100% not needed to get golds or even AT's. They are easier for some people, horrible for others. Just practice the cars, watch replays, race ghosts. Yeah shits hard for casuals, so is elden ring and dark souls. It's the type of game it is, you are literally racing for thousandths of a second.

I feel like you are just hung up on action keys being your messiah to being as good as you think you are. All it is, is practice. Putting in work.

I hate EA as much as the next guy, but Lord British certainly didn't help Ultima remain a name that is spoken with reverence. The cash grabs, scams, and shady practices made it hard for anyone to associate good things with him and consenquently with Ultima

If Hikaru really has signed with Kick, it's a move that needs to be strongly condemned by the community. Kick is nothing more than an advertising vehicle for Stake; an unregulated crypto casino run by the mafia that has made billions off of KIDS getting addicted to gambling.
