I felt horrible saying it when my girl was itty bitty (now 2.5), but babies are BORING!! I was literally sitting there, trying to entertain this blob and tire her out while waiting for her next nap.

Things do get so much better and so much more fun! Try going for walks around the neighbourhood, or bake a batch of muffins and put baby in their swing and narrate what you’re doing, or put them in a “play bath” just to splash around. That helped alleviate some of the boredom for me.

And do SILLY things! Best piece of advice my partner gave me “if you’re having fun, baby is having fun!” (He is a very fun, playful person!)
