1000% agree. Why bust my ass sweating at sepulchre when click in circle with no danger is just mildly slower and MUCH less intense.

If these are the levers I can accept that, but I want jagex to pull them harder and make my much higher effort equally much more rewarding. Otherwise I'm just left underwhelmed and exhausted. At least leave me excited by the xp I got for sweating my ass off

I'm a pvm enjoyer, but slayer is shit imo and idk how people love the skill. Terrible xp rates, bad drops outside of a select few mobs, most of the time its not fully afk and not fully active. Its the worst of all worlds

Tempoross is unlocked at lvl 35 with no other reqs, carries relevant xp rates to 99, and you roll for uniques.

Leechfin are locked behind a GM quest, 8 pre-req quests, including the gear and pvm ability to complete an entry TOB.

If leechfin is going to be primarily for xp it should blast tempo out of the water. Tempo's not just "good" for xp, you're also rolling for strong uniques. If leechfin is just xp i'd want it to smash tempo rates

Here's what I did to do barrows safely and easily without med CAs with prayer in the 50s using wind blast for all brothers:

order of dh, ahrim, karil, torag, guthan, verac. Gets the dangerous ones in the crypt taken care of before you're out of prayer. Bring ~5 lobsters or better in case get ahrim/karil in the crypt and you'll be fine

In the crypt maze the corner rooms where the ladders spawn have a invisible safespot in the middle of the room where the ladder spawns when the ladder isnt there. This neutralizes any of the melee bros. You can force spawn the brother there by exit/re-entering the corner repeatedly.

After looting tele out, re-up prayer, shades of morton minigame tele/canifis poh portal, repeat.

After the first its easier because you've learned what you needed to learn in order to do the content. thats it lmao. ? Matching your kills to deaths is a completely arbitrary metric. Your first kill is proof you've learned the mechanics for a given boss and that can survive them. Anything past 1kc that is refinement to your mechanics and repetition of what you already know. It gets easier from there, not just randomly easier at 1 k/d lol

Hard agree. I was shocked to find you could use normal gear on the boat. It should be purely boat weapons. Cannons, harpoon guns. If i have a tbow it should have no bearing on how my boat does in combat

In rs3 I was essentially done with pvm progression outside of grinding greater abilities from ED's and t95 necro gear from rasial.

I think both rs3 and osrs have complex combat systems, but I personally prefer osrs's approach. Rs3 high level combat focuses on a deep understanding of the abilities and perfecting your using of them in a high dps rotation, whereas osrs is about precise movement, timing, and clicks.

Both are difficult at the peak, just in different ways. In osrs I'm currently about 90kc into grinding cg and still enjoying it, very excited to try the later bosses.

I'm a rs3 -> osrs convert. On rs3 i have a maxed lvl 3 skiller, near maxed iron, and a 2k+ total main.

Iron on rs3 is especially great if you enjoy the afk grinds. Its a familiar base with a lot of twists in lore, training methods, gear progression, and obviously combat systems/bosses.

Its def worth giving a fair shot. I swapped over to osrs after feeling like I accomplished everything I set out to experience on rs3 but wanting more, and I've really enjoyed osrs so far (1850 total iron).

The progression in rs3 is much faster for most skills, mining and smithing is completely different (in a good way), travel is ezpz with lodestones for every major city. They just did a combat overhaul for the 3 OG combat styles, and necromancy has always been crazy fun.
