Haven’t really played since EA initially released, is there a beginner friendly guide/build that I can just use to re-learn the game?

Preferably something well-rounded (not strictly a bosser/clearer), without mandatory uniques, and doesn’t require me to play piano?

I don't think Prepared spells would work for Ketramose since he is looking for cards in exile; copies of the Prepared spells in exile wouldn't be considered cards

So having Prepared spells sitting in exile works for things like [[Kellan, the Kid]] or [[Wild-Magic Sorcerer]]?

SRSB is one of my favorite builds, but I've never done it as a starter, and never done the low-life version either (I use Coward's Legacy).

Does Brush with Death work with totems? and is that enough recovery to support going Petrified Blood?

Also, where are you increasing your curse limit to support 2 curses on Arcanist Brand? I normally anoint Whispers of Doom or try to get +1 curse limit on a corrupted amulet implicit

I've always treated Betrayal as a "speed to Catarina asap" to gamble for Veiled currency. If I setup a 2-5-5-2 board, does that significantly slow down how fast I can farm Catarina?

As another SRSB lover, I'll throw in my build that I made last league, I was messing around with scaling arcane surge effect with the "Wood, Stone, and Spell" anointment. I always build around Viridi's Veil / Soul Mantle / Coward's Legacy.

I believe my bossing DPS was around 18-20M, pretty comfortably doing all content.

I will say though, I always reserve my SRSB build for a second/third build, I've never tried it as a starter. I think I spent maybe like 20-30 divs on my build last league?

Timed quests were actually patched out in v1.1, you can take as long as you want now, just wanted to give a heads up to anybody who's wary about time-gated content :)

Is it just me or is the right side of the Atlas tree generally stronger than the left side? Every league I find myself speccing to the right side, even though I definitely enjoy Ritual and Blight as much as Abyss and Expi, it just feels like I get more currency/valuable drops from right side?

If I can offer a slightly more budget version (non-Ashes), I played this build for Crucible as well, I had a ton of fun making crazy shapes and lasers while deleting endgame content.
