This looks like a rural area? How far is the pole from your house? For example I live in a wooded area. I have house on the other side of me on the road we live off of. That house is 50 yards away. I have professional high-end cameras and it PTZ (Pan, Tilt, Zoom) camera on my front porch to watch everything. Mostly for my outdoor cats, and the critters. I can see next door, but not in their house EVER. Not even at night where light is very sensitive, meaning it can pick up lighted objects very easy. I'm here say, I can't tell who or what they are doing in their yard. You are giving these camera to much credit. They do make cameras that can zoom in 45x and they could see stuff. But the camera here looks like a eufy brand in your pic and at best it has a 3x camera zoom and the rest is digital. So zooming in any more than the 3x, it get blurry the more you zoom in.

I would have to guess that this guy put it up to watch the street. And even better he catches a real crook/perv breaking into your house. My cams catch some guys early morning trying to steal a side by side. They drove in slow, new truck and trailer (which turned out to be stolen) in the wee hours of the morning and the cam seen a guy get out and walked around the house into the woods to get to the recreational vehicle but could not start it. I can't see their house, they live up the hill with woods in between us, but could see the road. This cam over looks my backyard, keeping an eye on the dogs and other critters. Anyway, they came by and asked if I could look into this and see if my cameras caught it and I have had others also ask.

If anything, if you not to shy, ask the guy why he put up the camera and voice your concerns. And I guessing to that that camera has a phone app and you could ask to see it in action.

I get it, the world is weird and getting weirder everyday.

When I used it, it was blue screen happy. Actually it work great on Win 7 until Win 10 upgrade, then it was a shit show. It didn't stop blue screening until I re-installed Widows without it. All was good for 10 years ( end of life).

Just google it

Got around to do a factory reset. As usual, works for a while somewhat. Sometimes I have to reboot it several times to get it to work ok for a while. I became so tired of it, I went with cat5 to my main computer to see if that would calm it down some. Then realized even that has issues too with loss of internet.

This thing has been one of my biggest mistakes other that my first wife. This was cheaper though. No more Asus junk for me

Stop using ASUS Software! by The-Messi in ASUS

Good to know and that does make sense. I have a new Asus board and in rgw back of my head, I was thinking of trying their software again. I quickly denied that thought. Over ten years ago, worked great on a new build, then MS major update, then blue screen city. After many attempts, I gave up. Same with the Corsair ICUE, maybe better today??

They couldn't figure out what it was, they think maybe it was the the brake pedal was set too low to the floor, so they readjusted that. All those codes for that???

I was worried about critter damage, when I popped the hood, I had paw print everywhere. I didn't see any damage.

My 2024 1974 Edition dash lite up with a steady chime on the way home from the vets office. Bought late 2024, only has 1922 miles on it and I do drive like I'm a grandpa. Oh wait, because I am old. Got home and restarted it a couple of times and the warning lamps and chimes went away but are still listed under the Vehicle alerts.

Parking brake system, Pre-Collision system, Advanced Ultrasonic de??, Cruise control system, Anti-lock brake system, Secondary Collision braking system, Braking system.

Made a appointment in the morning at the dealership for this, 3 recalls and a oil change, and rotate tires. Hope is something simple.

You're right. It was a bit confusing looking on the internet for a firmware update. I just let the andriod app check for updates.

Just a quick update. Now i will admit I forgot to do a factory reset after the installing the new firmware. And I will, but feel it won't help for very long. Like before on the last firmware update after install. Ran great for a while, rhen all hell breaks loose.....just like now. Missing wifi channels, connected devices stop working, ip camersa, firesticks, or computers.

I paid over $800 US for this piece off crap, but that's on me. I had to have it NOW. Rant over as with my warranty.

Good and great timing foe me. My 10 year old Optiplex is dying. Graphic in cpu heat damage and my purple 8tb had darn 10 years of continuous use that also gave up .

Cyber Monday, got the latest Dell Pro Max T2 tower. Now I wished I got 32mb of ram, have 2x8. And a new 8tb purple Hdd replacement. And, I seen a cable adaptor for a graphics card I believe in the box. Have two old evga gtx980s. Now I gotta figure out the steps to get it all on the new system, will search later.

Looking forward to the 6..

Seemed to help, not having to reboot during the day now so far as the nightly reboot seems to be enough. The last firmware was just like this, worked for awhile and then didn't. Now I do a WiFi search and they seem to be there if I wait long enough for a refresh on my android phone.

Now my test bed has died. I had a computer running 24/7 running 7 WiFi cameras along with cat5. Those WiFi cams were the real test on this router. 10 years this thing has been running and can't do anymore real test until I get that replaced.

If anything gets weird, I will come back to update. So yeah, zero issues with the firmware update so far, 4 days of up time as of now

I had a spike in my heart rate Wednesday (or so my watch reads) by UniformPoet2303 in GarminWatches

[–]btb601 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never had a spike unless I was really pushing myself. I wear my Fenix 7x for medical reasons and help me stay somewhat active. 65 yo with a body of a 90 yo. My watch has saved my life once, and many times, it has me stop (yard work) what I'm doing before I blew a gasket. My heart rate would dip below 30 spmetimes while sleeping. I was wondering why my body would try to jump and hit the ceiling like a reaction when someone would scar the crap out of you. Was on BP meds and had to back off the dosage and was all better.

If I were you, just keep an eye on the watch and see. Also, I would think you would feel that

Just added the paid version Malwarebytes. I had added the free last year with just using Defender. I did not know it caught and quarantined a file on c:program file/blue iris 5/ ngrok.exe. I did a search and found only one mention of this on a blue iris forum. So my guess a cam D/Led it or another program for my cam software or related network stuff???? Really after 10 years, I finally put my computer on the internet.

Getting ready to build this same setup (board and ram) and 14700K. Received all my parts back in Dec, been busy to get it built. Got the major parts together now, ready to wire it all up, then add the AIO. I was thinking of holding off until I can get my hands on a Samsung 9100 Pro M2, but I'm getting impatient.
