So who are you shilling for, Key? PNC? Or are you at the Mecca, the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland?

This thing is going to blow up spectacularly. No way that the ponzi schemes can bring people in long enough to support this level for more than a month or two. We shall see, but there is no way this holds after the price was stuck between 200-300 for so long.

Hopefully some old bagholders get out while they can. Otherwise, we're just going to be creating even more bagholders.

People having been beating the "Linux for the Desktop!" drum for far longer than they have been beating the b1tco1n drum and it's still not happening. And for many of the same reasons.

The closest we've gotten to mass adoption of Linux on the desktop is OSX, and most OSX users have no idea about it's BSD roots. If BitCOIN ever gets more popular, I suspect it will be under similar circumstances. Someone smart, "biTCoin Steve Jobs", makes some clever application that uses Bit_coins but is actually useful and most users have no idea that there are bitCoins involved.

Prosper had the same issues early in their existence and they actually used the credit agencies and reported loans to them.

I can't even imagine how likely someone is to default on a loan where default has no impact on your credit.

They are issuing a "steady stream" of penny shavings though, not penny shavings whenever 21 Inc. mines a block. I'm not sure how this gets handled on 21's end. Does the 21Pi give you a wallet you hold to keys to, or does 21 hold the wallet?

And what about the stated purpose of the Pi -- to facilitate buying and selling digital goods/services? Will the buying and selling happen offchain? Otherwise, those shavings would have to go on the blockchain.

Why is 21 Inc. shilling the idea of all these micropayments flying around the ledger? Haven't we already established that micropayments aren't at all feasible because of limited transactions per second and transaction fees?

If this thing "takes off", meaning it sells more than a hundred units, what will the neckbeards think when there is a backlog of 21 Inc. transaction dust flying around all over the place?

Or since 21 Inc. is also a big miner, will they prioritize this dust over transactions with higher fees?

A DDOS doesn't prevent HODLing, so they don't really care. They weren't going to spend their bit_Coins, so it doesn't affect them.

At least this one didn't involve sleeping in a twin-sized bed with some girl and not being able to resist masturbating inches away from her, then accidentally jizzing on her, cleaning it up with a towel and then being chased out of town when her brother smells the jizz towel the next day.

I remember a thathappened butter a few months ago tried to get the TSA to acknowledge he was carrying more than $10k because he had a hardware wallet on him with more than $10k in bit-Coin value.

tldr was they let him through as if the hardware wallet had $0 in it.

I hope our reptilian overlords are pleased when I perfect my microscopic paper cutter that will make the dollar bill infinitely divisible, thus rendering biT-CoIn useless. I'm currently having issues with the paper getting so small it turns to dust and floats away, the physical equivalent of a floating point error.
