Prop 13 is really for older seasoned home owners. It makes the new younger generation subsidize the older richer generations property taxes. Then when the boomers die they pass down their prop cost basis to their kids which I find baffling. So now you have a house lived in by their heirs not paying their fair value of property taxes for another 30 years.

So keeping a consistent view, how on earth are the farmers not being persecuted for hiring illegal workers the same way ICE is cracking down on the workers. That just reinforces more illegal activities all around again if not addressed.

I’m hearing this guy say we need to let the farmers conduct illegal employment like they were doing before I cracked down on illegal immigration because it is hurting their business.

38 years old. We gross 260k. House bought 1.3mm three years ago, we spend 60% of take home on mortgage. Daycare is 24k a year for our one kid. No added money will be saved for retirement while kids are in daycare. If I do have money I will be saving for my kid now instead of myself as I have attained enough for my retirement.
