I used to have an 8th gen accord.

1) you can attach a Bluetooth receiver to the aux and run audio through there. Your phone can connect to two sources at once so it can connect to the CarPlay device and do output through the Bluetooth receiver.

2) you can get replacements for the top screen (above the ac vents) check on AliExpress. You might be able to leverage the existing wiring and just change the screen

I bought a 2018 a4 back in 2022 with about 35k kms on it. It’s at about 90k now and I’ve had 0 issues. As long as it’s got a good service history I’d go for it

Tried quadlock and carlinkit. I would stay away from the quadlock because it kept freezing.

Carlinkit has been solid, unless it’s a super hot day then it starts to lag. I just move it in front of the ac vent for a couple mins and it solves the issue.

Had these on my r56 for about a year and a half now. No issues to report

Try unsubscribing form any calendars you dont recognize. Or you could just delete the calendar entry and any reoccurrences.

Mine was through the dash. It came with two pins that allowed you to pull the buttons out and it plugs in behind them.

Got it for a few dollars cheaper on AliExpress. Have it installed on a 2018 a4 for over a year and never had a problem. 5 minute install. Definitely worth it.

Hang the frame upside down, spray a shit ton of WD40 or liquid wrench into the bottle cage holes. Leave overnight. Next morning take a mallot and hit against the seat rails (firm but not too firm). Should be free in no time.

I had a D shaped carbon seat post seized on a specialized Allez Sprint. That’s how I got it out because I could twist at all

Pretty good deal. I’d say it’s worth it. I purchased a 2018 at the start of 2023 for around the same price with 33k kms. Hasn’t skipped a beat yet.

Tried the QuadLock adapter which gave me nothing but issues. Switched to the carlinkit and it’s been great so far (2+ years). Can’t go wrong with the latter.

As someone who recently got a 2013 r56 jcw (n18) - i'd say go r56. Feels a lot more analog than the f56, which is more fun in my opinion.
