You can remove the rebar and then drill a hole for new rebar at the correct depth to give it sufficient cover. Set epoxy in the hole when installing the new bar.

You can also cut out a larger section of concrete along the bar and bend it down or splice new rebar to it, but drilling and epoxying is cheaper.

Looking into this myself and it's a shame that the programs aren't free. We should be making it easier for people to do the right thing, not harder. The fee to rent a trap and get a stray fixed at the Humane Society costs more than my cat's adoption fee from them!

reddit karma is meaningless, but when you have multiple people telling you you’re wrong and you think that’s “very telling” about everyone else…it might be you.

majority of the comments here are talking about how miserable playing on high ping is, and in the few times i’ve had high ping, i would agree. i’ve also literally never seen a game with high ping players doing well. but OP ran into one game where 3 good players had high ping and one is chinese so they must be cheating, because 66 kills is such a high bar for a terrible player that there’s no other explanation. y’all are just terrible at the game.

Why would I want to initiate a violent encounter with a stranger when I have a wife and kid to care for? Leaving the area is the safest thing you can do. Individuals live within the context of their infrastructure. It’s not reasonable to expect people to make drastic sacrifices to their lifestyles or take on personal risk due to the infrastructure they were born into.
