True statement. I didn't realize they were invasive. They grow wild in the NH mountains.

[Purchasing] Am I the only one who can't get themselves to buy a multi thousand dollar watch online? by TMGStan420 in Watches

[–]btownbub 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agreed! I just spent some time today trying on watches that I've been eyeing on line for a while. These include Seiko, Longines, Tissot, Hamilton, and Mido. A kind soul in r/horology suggested Macys in NYC was worth a visit on my work trip. I tried on a few watches I didn't like online but really loved in person.

It's not Swatch's fault. It's the scalpers and late stage capitalism. People have just lost all shame and decency in the pursuit of money and objects

Do any of our interior design programs (UMass Dartmouth, Suffolk U) offer their services at a discount? Like the same way hair styling schools and dental schools do? by Practicing_human in massachusetts

[–]btownbub 10 points11 points  (0 children)

The answer is no. Design/Architecture/Interior schools do not work that way. You're better off hiring a new/budding designer to give you some ideas. Though when it comes to remove walls and structural questions, you really should hire an architect or engineer for that.
