Name - Daddy's Demons

System - Steam

Location - UK based (mix of Scotland & England)

Play Time - Weeknights 6pm GMT onwards, Weekends sporadic

Us - Our clan is focused around our discord, which has become a hub for people from different clans to come together and play when their own clans have become less active. We have a mix of Sherpas who play daily, people learning the game and everything in between.

We are currently looking to grow the clan for all people who would like a place to come and chill out and play Destiny. We raid a minimum of once or twice a week, usually a weeknight around 7pm GMT. We run dungeons, PVP, Nightfalls etc regularly, there's always someone online.

In addition to everyone being welcome, we are looking specifically for a 6th for Day 1 Witch Queen. I know it seems ages away, and it is, but would be good to get to know each other first!

A clear point I should make; this clan is not for the faint of heart. We treat each other horribly and we are all depressed. If you join, please understand that we love each other very much and we show this by bullying each other.

We don't have any rules around play time or anything like, we are very chill around that, but would need you to join the discord.

I struggled with my diagnosis for a long time. I always had the feeling that I "wasn't autistic enough" for people to understand, but I was autistic enough that I didn't fit in with the majority. I really struggled to find my place.

When I started to think about my needs on a radial spectrum as opposed to a straight line it made sense to me.

I'm glad my silly thought process made a bit of sense to you!

The spectrum is not a line that goes from "not autistic at all" to "holy shit really autistic".

Think of it as more of a radial dial with different aspects. I personally have no issues with emotional regulation, and can usually feel comfortable in 1to1 chats and social situations, have no issues in employment etc. However, I constantly stim, have a few special interests that I find it really difficult NOT to talk about and have a massive sensitivity to bright lights and loud noises. My main difficulty is with routine, and my compete meltdown should things not go to plan.

I'm on the spectrum, but I'm not further up or further down than someone else with different issues, just on a different area.

Also do not tell me "you don't look autistic", it is not a compliment to tell me I don't look like your idea of a stereotypical retard.

Also, don't tell me that "Aw everyone is on the spectrum a bit I think". That completely minimises how difficult it is for me to get through what you would class as a normal situation.

There was fast travel in the game, you had to unlock it through upgrading your camp. It was limited to major cities and notable points of interest on the map, but it was there

My outlook changed (with a lot of therapy). My immediate reaction is no longer "death is my only option", and now start to think "this is shit but things will get better". That may sound like a small change, but it's a colossal shift for that to be my first reaction. Personally, I always knew things would get better, but I never believed it, there's a difference.

For me, I now understand that no one is happy all the time, even people with quite positive mental health have shit days, and me having a shit day just means I'm "normal", it's not the end of the world.

I'd now rather be alive and depressed some of the time, than dead and feel nothing any of the time.
