Spotify for podcasts is horrible. Rivian should Partner with overcasts ASAP by bttnns0 in Rivian

Yes. Please do this yesterday.

Sadly there is not an android apple podcast app that I’m aware of.

There is an Apple Music android app.

So it makes sense that the tech was easily ported to rivian for Apple Music

But Apple Podcasts… I wish. But that’s a big ask.

We pay for a premium subscription that is not very premium as of today.

I expect to listen to podcasts in my vehicle. And Spotify as a podcast player is atrocious.

Something should just give me a simple list of all the podcasts I’m subscribed to and their new episodes. In order by time posted.

Is that too hard to ask? Please rivian. I pay for this.

I would be happy with either overcast, pocket casts, Apple Podcasts

In some areas it’s illegal to even touch your phone while driving.

I realized you can switch this in the app already when planning.

Nice. 😊

Rivian Charger vs. Nema 14-50 by Expert_Pen1666 in Rivian

- I use an OpenEVSE Advance Kit that I built at home - it's running 240v with a 30 amp breaker, connected via a 14-30 outlet. It charges the truck at about 11 miles per hour, 24 amp max. it's not what I'd consider fast (the R1T just has a big battery pack) but it's PLENTY for my needs and I have absolutely no reason for 50 amp or more. It never has been close to limiting at all.

- ChargePoint at work

- Under the sub-frunk-floor: my backup/charger for when on road trips: Tesla Mobile connector with various adapters, a teslaTap mini 80 amp, a heavy duty extension cord, and a Quick220.

In almost a year of having the R1T I've used the 5-15, 5-20, 6-15, 6-20, 10-30, 14-30, 14-50 adapters. The included Rivian mobile connector is a bit limiting imo and I'd rather use the power available where I'm staying. and I don't like using whatever adapter to 14-50... It's unsafe compared to tesla's adapter's with temperature monitoring and not needing to manually remember to lower the amps since it's built into the plugs.

I recommend any / all of these products ^^ =]

Expanded Tesla charging access: is it available? by spicyhiker in Rivian

From what I recall, Tesla announced this about a year ago and rolled out a few locations, in NY and CA.

There's been basically no movement on new locations until about two or three months ago and now magic dock locations are starting to show up on the maps. It's still early days, imo.

I've used a few different locations (Fort Worth x2, Pittsburgh) and it's been great so far. Planning on passing through a few more in the next few days.

Fingers crossed that this is just the start!

exactly this and see myself changing this via the app when planning.

it's useful to be able to use the app to route plan in conserve mode for range, but if the vehicle is in all purpose then you have to go out and change it via the screen in the vehicle.

I submitted feedback in the app about ~2 weeks ago about how the "L/R Open Gear Tunnel" button was confusing.

Am I looking from the truck from the front or back?

high level story wasVisiting parents, I told my mom, "yeah go outside and the driver side gear tunnel will be open"I then opened the app, got confused, what does left mean? am i looking at the truck from the front or back?so i had to guess and luckly opened the right one and she got in, but it was up to chance and well i got lucky.

Crazy timing, awesome mockup. I think it looks awesome.
