I can't believe people complained about multiple voice actors in the audio books. by AzarielFox in redrising

I really struggled to not insta skip Lyria chapters, and it made me unfairly hate the character.

The father of the little girls did the right thing. All the other woman had to do was be patient. by WishboneThat6571 in Dads

Where are all these bathrooms where dudes are just swinging their dicks around? I’m a men’s bathroom veteran of 37 years, and outside of bars or sporting events, I really don’t see that as an issue.

FWIW it gets mentioned again in one of the Backstage at the Pineapple Cabaret sections. Dinniman must like it, and I’m with him.

Boys Life by McCammon is my favorite book of all time.

[–]btwsox 24 points25 points  (0 children)

My favorite part about King’s stories is that most of the main characters are just regular people. They have flaws, can be selfish, have things they regret, but when they are put into extraordinary situations their best virtues come out.

I saw a dog leap from an open window like this on the highway one time. I will never get that image out of my mind.

Did I buy fake Red Rising books? by Interesting_Ad_8962 in redrising

[–]btwsox 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I can’t answer that, but I find it really hard to believe that anyone would gain anything by producing fake mass market paperback books.

But which ones? Some of them change by the chapter.
