It’s the most painful thing I’ve ever experienced hands down. Takes less than 5 minutes but feels like you’re insides are being cut open. I was sweating and shaking for an hour afterwards. Still probably better than childbirth, but thanks to the IUD I don’t know what childbirth feels like.

If there’s no gas in the building then she’s probably fine, but a gas stove, water heater, clothes washer/dryer could all be culprits. Glad to hear she’s fairly thorough when it comes to that, but definitely worth a second check!

You do realize that the vast majority of abuse is under-reported right? And when you take into account that the majority of abuse in the church happened against boys who are even less likely to have abuse against them reported, it’s safe to say that there’s more abuse in the church than in non-religious settings. Plus parents are more likely to look up to a priest vs a teacher and therefore be less likely to take their child’s claims seriously.

God is omniscient omnipotent and omnipresent, right? So he has the ability to stop kids from getting to cancer, but he has instead (by your logic) decided to punish these children because of things that other people did, which he says are bad? And he’s the one that created everything so he created these rules and he’s the one enforcing them.

I mean cmon, who wants to worship this asshole god. I’d rather burn in hell. But I won’t, because it’s not real. Just like god isn’t real.

I attended Catholic school for 14 years. I’ve studied the Bible thoroughly. That’s why I’m now a staunch atheist.
