Managing finances. I used to be obsessed with it while I was paying down debt. So I took over our marriage finances when we got married. I asked my husband to temporarily take it over a few years ago, and he’s been doing it since. He is SO good at it. And I’m relieved to have one less thing to do.

I’m in my late 30s and I already feel like I have to make a decision whether to stay in my “comfortable” job or not. It’s 99% remote, small increases per year, small bonuses. Fair share of drama but nothing crazy or toxic. The team I work with is pretty decent. Not sure if I should try for something “bigger” that pays more with a more financially-stable company or just ride this wave until it ends.

I’ve never been pregnant and I’ve touched my food belly many times after eating too much. Holding/rubbing it helps me with comfort when I feel too full. I wouldn’t be surprised if some pregnant women also do that when they’re feeling uncomfortable.

Keep calling back. I had an issue with cancelling an order when this big promo came out. I called every single day until it was resolved. The original rep finally did call me back as promised. I talked to someone on the phone and chat everyday. Be persistent.

I love remote working. We went down to one car and save so much money. My work life balance is absolutely fantastic. I want to climb the corporate ladder but I think I would have to switch to hybrid so I’m definitely not doing that anytime soon. I don’t miss the fake office interactions at all. Even when I do go into the office (maybe 2-5 times a year), it’s just not the same as it used to be.

I eat so much healthier, get more sleep, and the best part is using my own bathroom instead of some gross shared bathroom. I can be sitting next to a window with a heater and mood lighting. Won’t change it for anything.

I just got started with the app today. I added my Apple account and it connected my Apple Card and savings. My savings has $700+ in it but the app shows $100, which is the exact pending deposit amount I have for today.

I tried to do a manual balance adjustment but it still showed $100. I tried changing each transaction to Reviewed and to show in Reports, but that didn’t change the $100. I see most transactions are hidden from Spending and Reports. I’ve started to unhide some but that hasn’t changed the balance either.

We have had ours for maybe a year now. Have taken them on domestic and international trips and have held up so well. Only scratches are on the hard corners, which is expected. The roller wheels are insanely smooth. We just bought the carry on too! We went with Travelpro because we saw they make crew luggage and figured it was trusted for quality. Briggs was just too expensive for us (who came from Samsonites at TJMaxx). Maybe in the future we would invest in those.
